SUBJECT: RE: Blue Monday in 2 hours and 41 Minutes (smooth operator) Post# 8011-14:32 ||| foraloysius (Groningen, The Netherlands) There is a combo, but it's a typical European sized machine. MESSAGE: I don't think there is a combo similar to the Duet/HE3t available in the UK. Post# 8010-14:29 ||| foraloysius (Groningen, The Netherlands) MESSAGE: And I'd call it VERY expensive!! Post# 8009-14:27 ||| foraloysius (Groningen, The Netherlands) I find the separation quite convenient although I would like a second toilet in the bathroom. MESSAGE: Yes indeed, we call them Water Closet too, but most of the time say WC. Post# 8008-14:26 ||| foraloysius (Groningen, The Netherlands) MESSAGE: Hi Ed, I scan those pictures at 100dpi for the Picture of the day files, so what you can save from the page is at the highest resolution that I originally scanned it at.

I do think a larger drum would help the rinsing and the full 800 rpm extractions between the baths should give better results than my Fls. The Sears Italian FL dates from the mid 80s and the Chinese combo is not far advanced from it. I would not base the performance of the hettie on the two machines you have. It had a problem with a sliding clutch on the motor pulley that a friend who played with go cart engines diagnosed and fixed. I had an Italian combo back in the mid 80s that tumbled so fast it was holding the clothes to the side of the drum as soon as it drained. I don't have that problem with either my Creda or my Miele, no matter what the load size in either wash or rinse. MESSAGE: John noticed that with the Quietline combo. MESSAGE: Is there a digital scan of this in a file somewhere? I know I can save it from the page, but if there is a higher res file Photoshop might be able to stretch it without loosing the sharpness. SUBJECT: RE: Frigidaire art work (Stretching the Truth) SUBJECT: RE: General Assistance Questions (HE3t overkill) MESSAGE: Yes, he drew an outline with chalk first Tom, I let him know you like his pumpkin. And I am perfectly willing to admit when I am wrong - well I was wrong about the washer, anyway!! Thanks for the assistance! I still remember how I scoffed at my now "ex" when he got one of the first Frigemores in 1997. I love the idea of the Hetties, but I guess I have been reading too many "H3t issues" posts on THS. While I am intrigued by the Duets/Ht3's and the "use them for a year" offer sounds tempting, I am still the world's worst skeptic about the first year of new anything. So we tend to do a lot of medium sized loads.

And what we do is separate since she has incredibly sensitive skin and cannot tolerate any type of scented detergent no matter how many rinses.

I think Appnut was right when he said it was a design that originated in the 1960's as the houses here in Lakevale Estates were built between 19. I was told that this too is considered a split bath.
